People that stay

Where ever I go,
I find you on my mind.

Sometimes I enjoy it,
other times I want to cry.

I would wish you were there,
to spend the day with me.

Hoping we could be together,
all the time.

I know its foolish,
but sometimes I miss you.

I think I miss you too much,
but I'd never know.

I've never had someone like you,
who missed me back.

As I sit once again, all conflicted,
I wonder if you feel the same.

I feel the beginnings of my dam breaking
as it fails to hold back the tears.

Just being here,
I dream of sitting with you.

I wish I could hear your laughter,
just hearing it makes me smile.

You are my one and only,
I hope it stays that way.
